Dr. Dietrich Kamlah

Dietrich Kamlah advises on patent law and other intellectual property matters with a technical background. He represents clients in complex international patent litigation proceedings in the fields of telecommunications, IT, and life sciences before German courts and the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Since the UPC came into force in 2023, he has built up a remarkable track record of successfully conducted proceedings and is recommended by JUVE in the first UPC litigation ranking.

Of note is his expertise in the field of standard‒essential patents at the interface between patent and antitrust law. Solution‒oriented advice on contract negotiations in research and development collaborations and transactions with an IP focus round off his portfolio.
